What’s the best way to contact you?
Email.
Will my site only work on desktop?
All sites will be both desktop and mobile responsive and should work on all devices and screen sizes.
How long will it take for my website to be completed?
A couple of weeks give or take. I can provide a more accurate estimate in a consultation. Time to completion is highly dependent on the complexity of the website, amount of pages, and correspondence time.
Can I have any say in design and colors?
Yes, I can work with any specific preferences or existing design systems. Otherwise you can allow me to have full creative freedom. If there are any changes that are needed after I have started they will need to be brought up in a revision meeting.
Can I use a certain font?
I can work with any free open source font found in Google Fonts. If you have purchased the license for a specific font I can use that as well. If you do not have any preferences then I will choose the font. This can also be brought up in a revision meeting.
What sites can you host on?
Squarespace, Wix, Weebly and Webflow. If you purchase a “Create and Manage” package then you must use my hosting site of choice.
What’s a domain?
A domain is another name for a URL. It is the link that users can type into a search browser to access your website. You will need to purchase one if you choose “Create”. If you choose “Create + Manage” then I will purchase and own the domain until you run out of months or decide to cancel.
*How do the revisions work?
I do my absolute best to meet the requirements that we had gone over in our consultation but I understand that sometimes changes are needed. Revisions allow us to go over parts of the website and change whatever you feel like needs to be changed.
In the case of “Create + Manage”, you have five revisions before the website enters the “complete” status. After it is considered “complete” you have an additional two months of unlimited weekly updates.
After the two months is up you can either sign up for the monthly subscription, or purchase revisions every now and then that are billed hourly at $60 / hr.
Why do you require a consultation for your services? Why can’t it be by email?
I find that having a phone or video conversation helps much more in figuring out what your needs are. It also allows you to ask any questions that I can provide an immediate answer to instead of waiting to hear back by email.
Is there anything I should have ready before our consultation?
I recommend setting up a Google Drive or Dropbox. There you can upload high quality photos that you would like me to use on your site. You can also upload any examples of websites you like, mood boards, or specific color palettes that help me in creating a design you are happy with.
Additionally, if you have an existing site that you would like me to edit instead, please make sure you have the email and password or can invite me to edit it.
An already purchased domain through Google Domains is recommended. However, if you do not have one already I can either provide instructions on how to purchase one, or purchase one for you and then transfer it to you. The latter option would require you to provide me with your credit card information as well as email and address.
Do you take payment through Venmo, Bitcoin, or Cashapp?
No. I only take payment by invoice through PayPal.
Can I apply multiple discounts?
Yes! Multiple discounts can be applied to one purchase.
Can you design me a logo as well?
I do not design logos. However, I’m happy to use any that you have personal rights to.
I’m not a breeder, can I still hire you to make my site?
I am accepting any small business client but specialize in dog breeders and dog trainers.
Why do you only give discounts to breeders who have titles on their dogs?
My passion is and always will be responsible breeding. This includes health testing and titling your breeding stock.
I want to encourage reputable breeders to have an online presence as well. It makes it significantly easier for potential buyers to find information about your dogs and your kennel. This limits individuals going to backyard breeders or mills.
I also like to provide incentive for breeders to title their stock.
